Recent events in Eastern Europe shed some illumination on what the former Soviet Union had been doing there, before the order was given to the Red Army to withdraw from territories occupied at the end of the Second World War (1939-45) to end German ambitions of enslaving the Earth. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) had begun to grow after the First World War (1914-18), when Tsar Nicholas II, autocratic ruler of the Russian Empire was deposed by a communist Revolution led by Vladimir Ilyich ‘Lenin’, and Leon Trotsky, commander of the Red Army, while the army led by the Tsar had become disaffected after a series of losses to a German army, which itself was ultimately defeated by the Western alliance, that is, France, Britain, and the United States of America. Pressure on the USSR to withdraw from the East resulted in the restructuring of the Soviet Union, as the Russian Federation, led by former lieutenant colonel of the KGB, Committee for State Security, President Vladimir Putin, and independence being given to the former slave states, as they were labeled by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which military alliance included those three countries able to deploy nuclear weapons as a deterrent, that is, France, Britain, and the United States, during what was called the ‘Cold War’ (1947-91), which primarily consisted of economic incentives and sanctions to persuade the USSR (CCCP) to release the populations held by its ‘satellite states’ in thrall to communism.
Communism was an atheistic philosophy developed by the German economist Karl Marx in his work Das Kapital (1868), which argued that the workers should control the means of production, and was the basis of the Soviet system where workers’ collectives would democratically determine the implementation of appropriate socio-economic measures advantageous to their communities. The role of the state would then be decentralized, and rule by Soviets would replace central government. However, the huge size of Russia, which encompasses a significant part of the Eurasian continent, led to a resumption of central authority. When Germany divided Poland with Russia along the Bug river at the outset of WWII, the Soviet leader, dictator Joseph Stalin, had already established a series of labor camps for slaves throughout Russia, a pattern that would continue throughout Eastern Europe, after the German invasion of Russia on June 22nd, 1941, known as ‘Operation Barbarossa’, was finally repulsed in January 1942, and the Red Army refused to leave the territories it occupied during its advance to capture the German capital city, Berlin.
That refusal to leave gave the Soviets plenty of time and opportunity to infect and influence the Christian church with its propaganda machinery, and plan for the future of atheistic communism to survive, as a form of religious dogma, adopted by congregations more concerned with economic advantage than spiritual, and/or intellectual progress, which had characterized Christianity since the Advent of Jesus ‘Christ’, ‘the chosen’ Messiah of Christianity, ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ (Mk: 12. 31) What Christianity did in the West was unconscionable enough, as it used the belief that Jesus’ nailing to a cross of wood, where he died atop the hill of Calvary, outside the capital city of Jerusalem in Jewish Palestine, then occupied by the Empire of Rome’s army of Tiberius Caesar Augustus (14-37 C.E.), before Jesus experienced Resurrection and Ascension to heaven, to inculcate acceptance of human sacrifice as beneficial to the community, which propaganda was used to legitimize the sacrificing of millions on the battlefields of WW’s I and II, as well as earlier and later, by cowards who didn’t want competitors.
Although Jesus, called ‘Logos’, that is ‘logic’, could be said to have invented the cruciform plane, through his crucifixion, by fixing the archetypal image in the mind of the inventive, Christianity used the plane to bomb. That Jesus wasn’t for abominations is clear from his handling of the woman accused of adultery, ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.’ (John: 8. 7) It was the woman, Eve, placed in the paradise of Eden by God, the creator, according to Judaism, who was given ‘the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil’ by the angel, Satan, which it was death to taste. Satan had been turned into a serpent by God for rejecting God’s plan that the human host be greater than the angelic, ‘You shall be as gods.’ (Gen: 3. 5) Expelling Eve, and the first man created by God, Adam, from paradise, God told Eve her ‘seed’ would prevail, ‘You shall crush the head of the serpent with your foot, but he will bruise your heel.’ (Gen: 3. 15) According to Jewish Midrash, Adam was hermaphroditic, that is, although Eve is described as being created from Adam’s side, it’s a euphemism for self-fertilization by women’s seed.
